Accessibility Statement
My ResponsAbility supports people with disability, and this website is built to be usable by the people we support. Accessibility was part of how the site was built rather than something added afterwards.
What we have done
- A layout that works on mobile phones, tablets and computers.
- Readable font sizes, and text that can be enlarged in your browser.
- Clear headings and a consistent page structure.
- Colour contrast chosen to meet recognised accessibility guidelines.
- No important information shown by colour alone, so nothing is lost if you cannot distinguish particular colours.
- Full keyboard navigation, without needing a mouse.
- A structure that works with screen readers.
- Clear labels on form fields, and error messages that explain how to fix the problem.
- Alt text on images that carry meaning.
- Plain English wherever possible, and Australian English spelling throughout.
- Spam protection on our forms that does not create accessibility barriers.

If any part of this website is difficult to use, we want to know. Accessibility problems are treated as faults to be fixed, not as feedback to be filed.
